Fabulous place! Owners are warm, menu, though limited, is innovative, wines varied and unusual. Vibe is wonderful, (I've never noticed crowd of women as mentioned in the review-lots of couples). Some of the best dining experiences of the year. Salads always fresh, cheese plates varied nicely, and quesadillas tasty. Worth special trip if you're in Westchester. Deserves higher food rating, 21-23 compared to other area eateries.

Don't let the facade fool you as the GV is a unique addition to not only downtown New Rochelle but to Westchester as a whole. Between Chef William Leon's truly phenomenal small plate foods (you can literally have a full meal!) down to the eclectic and varied selection of wines from around the world. And on the weekends, DJ Shaggy, a staple since the wine bar opened in 2007, plays a bevy of tunes to soothe, groove & romance patrons.

Hope this place makes it. People involved are fun and really trying to make Main Street worth visiting. Interesting wine selection.

Great food, sometimes, disappointingly, a lot is 86'ed. Seems to be very popular with groups of ladies.
